Before a rally like Conondale can open a lot of preparation and work goes in behind the
scenes, planning starts months in advance. Team Zed goes into action in July with most
of the team suffering many restless nights, hair loss and fingernails that are chewed to
the quick. Sometimes you have to think to yourself why are we doing this? It would have
to be easier to organise world peace.

It’s only after the event is over and put to bed for another year that you realise that you
do it because a lot of other bikers are counting on your club to give them a great weekend
rally away from the worries and challenges that life throws at us. A time to get
together with likeminded people and enjoy each other’s company share a few ales and
trade a few stories and when it’s said and done look forward to the next rally to get
together and trade good times again where ever and when ever that may be. This is the
reason why we do it and do it with Biker knowhow and Biker pride.

A great Jon once said “Build it and they will come”. A steady stream of bikers started
rolling through the gates from early Friday morning. This trend continued till Saturday
night. They just kept coming! The nude runners showed up this year with two of our well
endowed bikers giving us a streak show and at the same time a lesson on how to run
through a cow shit infested area in the dark and miss all the cow shit. How do they do
it? Not to be outdone one of our very own Zed owner fillies did the naked Booby run
through the crowd. She figured two dicks equals two tits, and she had two very nice
firm, young and perky, yummy looking tits. What can I say - you got a better description
of the tits than the dicks because I like tits, OK!

I noticed more lady bikers on their own machines this year than any other year that I
can remember. Keep up the great work ladies; you’re a credit to our fraternity. This year
Green Park was green and cool and best of all - the creek was flowing, clean and deep
- great for the nightly dip to help cleanse one’s body after a busy day.

On Saturday our traditional gymkhana kicked off in the afternoon. Participation in the
events was excellent this year we had the tyre toss for men, women and children. The
Tug Of War, 8 teams all told, the Balloon toss, the Iron man and a new game was
introduced, the Hay Stack. The Zed Owners signature multi-draw raffle was a huge
success and no wonder with 31 prizes up for grabs. These included large ticket items
like brand new quality helmets, leather jackets, rain gear etc. As president of the Z
Owners and on behalf of all QLD Z Owner members I would like to thank Phil and
Miguel at Hi-Side Leather for their generous support and donations to our club. We as
bikers need to support businesses that support us.

The highlight and success of the Conondale Australia Day long week-end rally was on
Saturday night. The reason for this is in just one word “TRIPLICKIT”. This band kicksass.
The crowd rocked nonstop from the time they started. Green Park echoed hill top
to hill top with live rock and roll. People kept coming up to me and telling me how great
they thought this band was. If you are looking for a live band I think it would be difficult
to find one as professional and entertaining as “TRIPLICKIT”. These guys are the
genuine article - real crowd pleasers.
